so some things to pray for if you need somethin to pray for ya know...
My moms friends daughter (I dont know them but yeah) found out that she is schytsophrenic ( I do nottt know how to spell that) and she is deaf and things are already hard dealin with that and this makes it so much harder...just that she will hold on to Gods truth..cuz that illness messes with your head...and I don't know, I just cant even grasp how it would be to live like that.

aaaaannnnd my gramps doesnt have cancer but he still has something wrong with his throat and for him to be joyous...so if you want something to pray for theres some stuff........I dont know but I feel wierd asking for prayer, I probably shouldnt though so I'm still gonna post.

Luke Jensen

My family met the Jensen family yearssss ago and my grandparents go to church with them and long story short, Luke Jensen was diagnosed with lukemia in 2007 when he was six years old. He had his ups and downs and i don't know the complete story, but recently the cancer came back and he's to the point where the doctors have sent him home saying there is nothing more they can do. :( He's nine years old. The Jensen's know Jesus and they are an awesome family with i think three kids including Luke. Prayer for complete healing, finacial help, and just the emotional craziness of their situation would be grand.

this is weird but I've been missing people when I am with them or have just been with them.
As you might see from the late hour I just can't sleep and I'm bored and I have lots of thoughts stumbling round my head. And for some reason I always want to throw words back and forth (and by that I mean talk) when I am by myself. which is also weird. In conclusion I am a weird human.

so idk if you've seen Ariel Needhams facebook, but she left for Greece today. I'm not sure how long she's planning on being there, but she's stuck in philadelphia for a few days before she can fly to europe.
annnyway....i don't want to go into great detail (i don't know too much anyway), but keep her in prayer because i feel like she's putting herself in a very dangerous situation. and she knows it and she doesn't care. she could easily be hurt emotionally as well as physically and most defffffinitely spiritually. from what i know she's just not in a good place right now...and i know most of you girls don't know her well, but she really needs prayer and i know you ladies are great at that!

its been awhile!

i havent reallly been on this in a while....as well as a lot of others. haha so i shall break thee chain of the non-usage of the blog ;) first and foremost i will start off by sayin i hope to see your beautiful faces tonight/soon again. second, i am feeling very blessed and stupendously happy this past,so far week. Thank you lord. im letting go and letting god and i am seeing change and i wanna cry its so awesome! im like shoot dang god you got my back homie! haha (not really) just kinda like that. uh superstar was fun and im glad we were in it. EVERYONE NEEDS TO HEAR OUR ORIGINAAAAL ;) its cute and graceful haha not really but you all would like it, we sure do. also, prayer request for my father, he is in very much pain of his body. i think his back and stuff, i dont even want to look at him he seems so in pain i feel so helpless. but healing would be very beneficial =1 hipppity hop.hippity hope to see your fruitful undies this evening. in conclusion...i love thee and thats all... =) BYE! -notskinator

Good Reads!!!

So I know not all of you like reading, but I HAVE to recommend a book to you all. I know Katie Kups has already read it.
It's called "Searching for God Knows What" by Donald Miller.

Pretty much all of his books are rad. I'm almost done with this one and it has seriously opened my eyes to SOOO much! I don't really know how to explain what kind of book it is...it's just the author..talking. It's about God obviously, but what it means to have relationship with Him and how that's what it's all about. How everything is relational, not formulaic. It talks about a million other things too. aahh!! It's just super super good!! I really think you should all read it.

Ok, ok. I know I've been asking for prayer for this for a long time now, but I still need it!
I found out I got a scholarship to Multnomah the other day. It's not a full ride or anything, but comparing Multnomah to WSUV after all the scholarships and financial aid stuff, they'll be about the same price.

So now comes the decision making.
My favorite thing to do.

Right now, I'm leaning towards going to Multnomah for a year and reevaluating from there.

So yeah, if you could be praying for direction and for me to be hearing God's voice in this. I know that wherever I go God has amazing things in store for me, so I'm honestly not very worried about it. I'm just the kind of person that when I do something, I want to do it right.

I've also just had a lot of stuff on my mind recently so prayer for clarity...idk how to explain it. blahhh yeah....idk haha

Here are somethings to be reminded about and gathered! :)

***March is our month of giving for Shared Hope International. After last Wednesday, we have raised $300.45 toward our goal of $3,300. We are on our way!

Remember, even pennies add up!! Anything helps! :)

Also, doing for others was our focus for this month. I pray this hasn't been a chore for any of you but has become more of a way of life..I know most of you already do this, but maybe its in a new way that makes u step out of ur box..

Tomorrow night teaching will be from Galatians 4:12-20.
In this section, after Paul reminds them of their close relationship they shared, he tries to help them see the deception other teachers are pushing and his pain-inducing faithfulness to them. Our ministry theme verse is in this section (4:19). The focus of my teaching will be on the deception they were under attack with and the faithfulness Paul had toward them.

Discussion questions will be along the lines of these:
**Who/what is trying to deceive you?
**Which friends do you see being tricked/deceived away from God?
**What would it look like for you to remain a faithful friend, like Paul, to those **who are being pulled away?
**Who are the people in your life that have stuck with you through thick and thin?
**Who are you sticking by?

Think on these questions so your minds will be ready for tomorrow night! :)

So, young ones it has arrived...the count down begins! :) I've been asked what to bring:

Sleeping bag, pillow, warm jacket, hoodie, sweats, something warm to sleep in, shoes you can walk in/climb in, TOWEL, gloves, umbrella, Snacks to share with your fellow loved ones, DONT FORGET YOUR BIBLE & PEN!!!!!! So, I need to know who can bring some items to share with the rest of the peeps..if your not wanting to share then you dont have to..but I will be bringing a hair straightener & blow dryer.. If you want more than one bring one along...I am bringing my own small shampoo & conditioner. If you want to share with someone call or text them to set it all up.. Also, on V-day at dinner we are going to be dressing up in like 1940's antique fashion...Heres are a couple pix to help ya out!

P.S. You don't need to dress up so much, just a cute cardigan skirt or fun dress...If your still lost on what to wear google 1940's fashion!

The focus of this section is on the purpose of the Law. Paul says that it was given "Because of transgression," So, the Law served the purpose to help guide us until Christ came. It pointed to our need of Him and kept us on the way until He came. This topic will help us deal with the issue of rules and why we have them and why we should keep them.

>> What benefits can we have from keeping rules?

after reading kup's post everything else seems so...dull and clumsy. I just wanted to say that you guys honest dont realize what a big part of my life you are. the amount of my prayers and thoughts you fill. the bulk of my memories you occupy. the number of words that are borrowed or maybe stolen (hehe) from you lady's vocabulary. I see you guys like once a week and i cherish every minute...BUT this blog and once a week is no good for me haha. im the kind of needy person that wants my friends tight knit! i think once a month we should have a sleepover or ladies night out. to keep us close and on each others minds. I think we could alternate peoples houses and places so we arent so cautious and baby-tamby and so we can get more confortable around our familys:) anyways tell me whatchu thinkin:)

her name was Hannah

She died. Thats what I told Madison.So cold. Like she wasn't real. I couldn't make it real. I don't think I wanted to.

My cousin Jessica had a baby last January. She named her Hannah. Hannah wasn't supposed to happen. But she did. And she made something that wasn't, into something beautiful.

Hannah brought Jessica closer, brought her to, Jesus.
Hannah showed her mommy how to grow up. And made her strong.

Hannah was sick. Not expected to live to two. She didn't make it to one. But they had so much hope. So much joy. They were always joyful.
Hannah was their life for a year. She took up everyday, every minute, she needed constant care and they would never leave her alone, ever.

I only got to see Hannah a few times. I'd always hear about how she was doing, what she was doing, how she was changing her little family, Jess, Jess's mom and dad and her sister.

I told some of you how I kinda didn't want to go down for the funeral....cause of tears and all that...Jessica said no crying at Hannah's funeral. There was never any crying around Hannah...you were only allowed to be joyful.

What was hard was seeing Jess kiss the little body in the pink casket, touch her tiny hands and whisper goodbye to her baby. She loved her so much.

I guess I just wanted Hannah to be a little real to you guys.
She had the most beautiful blue eyes.

When Hannah died it hit Jess so, SO hard.
